Turn a PDF into a page-turning book and put it on any page in about two minutes.
1. Open the FlipBooks menu #
In your WordPress admin, hover FlipBooks in the left menu and choose Add New FlipBook.
- FlipBooks lists every book you have made.
- Add New FlipBook starts a new one.
2. Name it and choose the PDF #
Give the book a title, pick the source, and select your file from the media library (or upload a new one).
- Title is shown on the book’s own page and in the library.
- Source: PDF file keeps text, links, search and the contents panel. Images uses one image per page.
- Choose PDF opens the media library. You can also paste a PDF URL or media ID below it.
- Publish / Update saves the book and makes it live.
- Shortcode: copy this to place the book in any page or post.
Tip: Set a featured image to use as the cover thumbnail in the lightbox modes. Without one, the first page is used.
3. See it on your site #
Open the book’s permalink (shown under the title), or paste the shortcode (for example ) into a page or the FlipKraft block. Visitors turn pages by dragging a corner, using the arrows or the keyboard.
- Previous page and Next page buttons.
- Page number: type a number and press Enter to jump.
Every option you did not customise in the book inherits FlipBooks → Settings, so you can restyle all books at once.
Next: Site-wide settings
